Even though this phone is pretty ugly, I am trying to get my green on-so this might be a good idea. Blackberry’s are just overrated anyways, and the effects of a trashed blackberry is horrific to the planet believe it or not. I do like the Samsung Solar Powered phone though. The best part of this phone is the amazing CHEAP price-so there is no way you can say no! $9.99 with service at T-Mobile.
The just-released Motorola Renew, offered through T-Mobile, is the “world’s first carbon-neutral cell phone,” with 100 percent recycled packaging, plastic components made from recycled water bottles, and an energy-sipping power system that offers up to nine hours of talk time.
It also boasts a basic music player and a Micro SD memory-card slot. The call quality is excellent due to a CrystalTalk noise-reduction technology. It is extremely compact (4.4 x 0.6 x 1.8 inches) and featherweight (3 ounces).
