San Antonio dimepiece Julie Aldridge creates some pretty tight works, ESPECIALLY considering she’s ONLY 19 years young!  Her love for art always seemed to be present throughout her life, even as early as elementary school.  As she recalls: “I always had kids ask me to draw them a picture for 50 cents or a dollar, or (even) for candy!”

I still feel that the best kind of candy is that which is directed towards the eyes.

“One of my biggest inspirations today, as well as one of my biggest fascinations, are people. Thus, most of my paintings are portraits.  I love color as well, so most of my paintings are done in arbitrary colors”
