I know there has to be more girls out there like me who don’t use the sun to get their tan on. For me, its  a mix between having time and having such pale skin to begin with that I’m more likely to be red then bronze. I’m a huge advocate for sunless tanning. Of course, sun has its health benefits but too much can lead to skin cancer, which my pale-skinned family has a history of.

Of course, heading to a salon to get air-bushed or spray tanning is wonderful, but not so friendly on the bank account. I like to use this way to get that glow only for special occasions, like Vegas. There are plenty of at home self-tanners out there and I’ve used them all! Two of them I feel are better than the rest.

Find out which ones after the jump.

My favorite self-tanner has to be Jergen’s Natural Glow. It gradually makes your skin darker after each application. Sure, you do have to put it on everyday, I do it right before bed and wake up with a perfect glow. Other products leave you looking blotchy or orange, Jergen’s doesn’t.  The product also is a firming moisturizer that can be replaced with your daily lotion. Kill two birds with one bottle! Plus, a bottle costs about 8 bucks. Not too shabby.

Same kinda concept as Jergen’s, but dries faster and the tan is darker to begin with. No real moisturizer to it, so you will have to also use your daily lotion as well. Like the other one, not too hard on the wallet, only costing around $9.

Are there any sunless tanner products you swear on?
