I first became aware of Karli Henriquez’s infectious laugh after seeing her MTV3 reality show ‘Karlifornia’ a few years ago. The station was the only MTV that my cable plan included but I became so hooked on her story that I tuned in every week to see LMFAO perform on her birthday or what crazy things her family would say. The thing that really struck me about Karli was how real she seemed to be. After getting the chance to see her responses, that seemed turned into is. This girl is REAL. It’s refreshing to see such a positive role model who is so young. Currently a radio personality on 102.7 KIISFM in Los Angles (yes, the same station Ryan Seacrest is on!), Ms. Henriquez gets to interview all the big music stars (Kanye West! Burberry Prorsum is one of my favorite fashion lines by Christopher Bailey. When I first saw the knotted skirt, genius! Unfortunetly, the gorgeous skirt will put you back  $1,046.50 and that’s on sale from $1,495 on Net-A-Porter.com. You can get the same kinda deal at Express for $49.50. The Express skirt is mostly Spandex with knotted mesh. Shoot, its like a grand cheaper! I’m getting mine tomorrow.

I was more than fortunate to get the backstage dirt at Daisy Gonzalez’s fashion show at the Music Box in Hollywood this past Saturday. She showed along side bathing suit designer Chea Keo. The scene backstage was actually alot more relaxed than expected. Daisy was working on the order the models walk in while makeup artists and hair stylists effortlessly did their thing. Seeing the collection up close in personal was such a treat! My first reaction was how much it reminded me of Alexander McQueen’s final collection.

I’m beyond excited for this fashion show! My girl Daisy is showcasing her Spring 2011 line at the Music Box in Hollywood Saturday night! Ladies will get in free before 11:30 and men will have a cover of $20. To get on the guest-list, email info.daisygonzalez@gmail.com.

I’ve said that there are events that “cannot be missed” but Daisy is one designer to keep your eye on. One day when she’s showing at New York Fashion Week along side Marc Jacobs, you can say “I saw her at the Music Box!”

Sophia Bush is pissed! And honestly, I am too! The One Tree Hill star posted a well worded letter to Urban Outfitters about one of their graphic tees that says “Eat Less”. Although Sophia is a tiny girl, its nice to see her upset about a world wide company promoting unhealthy eating habits. I’d fully rock a shirt that says “Eat More”. I love food!  A bacon hamburger wouldn’t hurt the model. Sophia went on to say that she will no longer shop at their stores.

To promote starvation? To promote anorexia, which leads to heart disease, bone density loss, and a slew of other health problems, not least of all psychological issues that NEVER go away? Shame on you. I will no longer be shopping at your stores. And I will encourage the tens of thousands of female supporters I have to do the same. I have fought to boycott BP. I never imagined I would also be boycotting affordable fashion.

Its hard not to see all the Lohan drama that has been happening for the past, how many years? I have my opinion about this but I’m more interested in you the reader’s opinion. Leave your comments on if you really think this is what’s best for Lindsay or if you think only rehab would be better.

I guess the only thing we all can do now is send our well wishes to her that she gets the help she needs no matter what your opinion is of her. Good luck Lindsay!

Project Ethos will be putting on it’s 14th show this Friday at the Music Box. Fashion, art, and music will be fused together to produce an amazing night.  Last show proved to be quite exciting with a model nipple slip and falling in love with Bruno Mars. Los Angeles! This is a party you do not want to miss onThursday. Akomplice clothing teamed up with rapper Young De and director Matt Alonzo in creating a dope hat that goes hand in hand with the release of Yonng De’s new video ‘Blaze of Glory’, directed by…we’ll ya’ll are smart enough to figure that out. Young De will be performing and Mr. Alonzo’s other videos will be streaming through the night, so you can get to know one of the best music video directors out there. (Not bias since Matt is a friend, his videos really are THAT good!)  He’s worked with all the big names in the game. New Boyz, Snoop, Xzibit, The Game, Ray J, umm basically all those joints on the radio that you love, he’s on it. My fave has to be ‘Fly Like A G6′ by the Fareast Movement. Gettin slizzard. Party starts at 7 pm in Westlake hosted by Tradition. Trust me, you’ll be glad you went.

I am obsessed with this outfit that Blake Lively wore in Paris while filming Gossip Girl. This Chole-esque get up is beyond classy, with the perfect amount of sex appeal with the bra peeking through the loose top. The color of the pants is my favorite color to wear right now. Goes so well with lighter skin tones. I can not think of one thing to hate on while looking at the photo. I applaud you, Blake.

Okay, let’s break it down. Thigh high boots. Spandex bike shorts. Birthday cake skirt. Little Mermaid/ cones in ode to Madonna. Shoulder wings. Full length gloves. Flotation  devices in case she drowns on stage. Oh, and can’t forget the bright red hair.

I’m usually a huge fan of Rihanna’s style and her stylist, but this? It just looks dumb.
