Horo Collection

clock9
Was browsing the site of Brevity Jewelry when I came accross the Horo Collection. Inspired by the parts of a clock, this collection has silver and gold plated necklaces that are simple and yet very stylish. Each one is a little different and looks totally unique. I dig. Want one of the 24K gold ones for myself. Check out more pics of some of their designs after the jump.

Bitching & Junkfood Gold Fish Tights

tights1
These were leggings love at first sight. The above Gold Fish Tights by Bitching & Junkfood go for about $44.50 a pair and are actually screenprinted with gold metallic. Upon first seeing them I actually thought they were studded so they must have done an amazing screenprint job. These are a more affordable way to do the whole armored knee legging look that people have going gaga for lately. Love them! Add these to your wardrobe and you have an easy way to spice up any solid colored tee.

LED Light Up Fake Eyelashes

led-eyelashes-1
I am a huge supporter of fake eyelashes and anything that makes my eyes look sexier/ bigger/ fuller/ whatevs, but I am not totally sure how I feel about this. LED light up fake eyelashes are the new craze amongst Asian women, claiming that they accentuate their eyes and make them look bigger. They are made with built in censors that enable them to track the motion of your pupils so you can turn them off with a distinct tilt of the head. I don’t know how you all feel about this, but to me it sounds like having a mini robot on your eyelid and I am not about to have my body taken over by a pair of fake eyelashes. On another note these can also serve the double duty of acting as 1) a light to ward off cars when youre crossing the street at night 2) a air traffic control light or mini lighthouse 3) a way to scare off small children. Make sure to peep more pics after the jump.

TAD Gear Titanium Rescue Ring

tadring1
Fashion meets safety with the new TAD Gear Titanium Rescue Ring. Designed as part key chain, part ring, that combine to form a deadly weapon (ok maybe not deadly but it would hurt a lot), this ring is perfect for ladies who often find themselves walking to their car late at night after a long day of work (or shopping). The key chain hooks onto your key ring and the ring on your finger (duh) and when the time comes to brave the night alone a sharp stud from the key ring latches onto the ring to make an easily accessible defense weapon. AKA don’t mess with me. This is a genius idea if I ever saw one. I have been using my keys like this for a while but this definitely takes safety precautions to the next level (and it’s only $79.89!). Continue reading for more pictures of how it works.

DIY Chain Shoulders

2rzwcyd
With the recession still very much in full swing I am always looking for ways to cut back on spending but stay fly. One DIY thing that you can do to stay current with the latest hot trends is the chained shoulder look. Simply take some chain of your liking (silver/ gold, thick/thin, etc) and drape it off the edge of your shoulder. Try and sew it through the chain at the top of the shoulder for a flawless look. You can also add some shoulder pads underneath for the additional bonus of the box/ square shoulder look. So easy and yet so hot. Got the above photo from DELIGHTFUL and got inspired to do it myself. Just because we’re in a recession doesn’t mean you have to look cheap. Workkkkk.

THIS IS FIRE! Peep the Valentino Kaleido Gem-Embellished Tote. Going for a mere $2,995 at Net-A-Porter, this satin tote is covered in fine gem embellishments, and goes from clear, to gray, and brown encrusted gems. I want it. Its not so crazy that it can only go with a couple outfits, but it is bold enough to most definitely stand out. The bag also comes with a longer shoulder strap for optimal versatility. Hotdamnn.
