Rihanna was looking fab in these Thunderbolt shoes by Mai Lamore Janis at her rehearsal for her Superbowl performance. Mai Lamore Janis is an African designer, based in Paris. This innovative lightning bolt heel is from her “Lightning Bolt” collection. No information on pricing or where to purchase the Thunderbolt’s, but I’m sure we’ll hear more about Mai Lamore Janis soon!

Keira Knightley is Elle’s latest cover girl for its March issue. I used to hate this chick, basically out of pure jealously. I mean, look at her. F’ing too gorgeous for her own good. And the pout she does, that should be patented, bugged the hell out of me. But since my hatred does not bring anything positive what-so-ever, I’m glad to say, I’m a fan. Got to give props to a girl who can still catch your eye while on screen with both Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. I love the pants (or shorts) that she’s rocking on the cover. I want. I need. Gimme. Ms. Knightley speaks about pepole saying she can’t act, her newest projects,and why people who speak the truh are who she wants around.

You have to be selective about the people whose advice and opinions you take. I know [my parents] would never tell me I was shit because they were trying to hurt me. It would always come from a very sincere place.

Carrie Underwood + Super Bowl = ?

When Carrie Underwood first took the stage to sing the “National Anthem” at the Super Bowl, a lot of thoughts ran through my head about her outfit.

First thought: Wow. That’s a whole lot of white. But, it is Miami. And the people in Miami love to wear white. Plus, the girl has wedding on the brain, so I can forgive the all-white outfit.

Second thought: Ok, I can forgive the all-white outfit, but the hair…the hair is a mess. Carrie’s hair usually looks fantastic. She’s a total knock-out when she wears it down, so why go with this messy, bumpy, wingy thing?

Final thought: Minus the hair, she totally rocked this outfit. Of course, she looks great in almost everything she wears. And she’s young and gorgeous, so she can pull this off.

I’m not sure what’s come over me, but this is the second outfit that I’ve seen Sarah Jessica Parker in recently that I haven’t loved.

I love the accessories, but the dress itself just isn’t doing it for me. I know it’s Dior, but there’s something very ordinary about it. Almost bridesmaid-y. SJP did put her own spin on the dress, but it just wasn’t enough to sway my opinion.

As someone who wears reading glasses I think I have some room to comment on the nerdy frame trend. It was cool when the look was in moderation but come on now…the no lens black frame has gone too far. It can’t possibly be for everyone. When will these go away??? Can people at least go for different colours??? I say leave it to the nerds or of course to the ladies.
