Aimee, Kymby and I all stopped by the 80’s Purple x Hypebeast “Kut from a different cloth” runway show/party to check out the different designers and weirdo fashionista people. We ended up having a good time, people watching and aweing at the models. Brands who participated in the show included: Corpus, Insight, Kaylee Tankus, Velvet Leaf, Orthodox and Fremont. My favorite designer was definitely Fremont.

I am feeling like a rebel lately, leather jackets, leather boots, and now these awesome zipper knee motorcycle pants by Charlotte Ronson. These totally remind me of those shorts that you could zipper on the bottom half to create pants. Cheesey right? But totally functional! These are zippered more for style reasons, obviously. I’ve been looking for a L.A necklace forever! I should have known I was going to find it from famous LA jeweler, Han Cholo. He recently released some of his newest pieces, which you can check out here at 80’s purple.
I feel like this fringe thing is moving on up. American Apparel has their Fringe Mini Dress, which I love. Now Costume Department gives us their Fringe Hoodie and Fringe Top.
I love the way the fringe surrounds the neck on the hoodie! With the hood on though, it just looks like long stringy hair. I just don’t want to look like some strange version of Elvira. I’d most likely wear the hood down anyways. The top’s fringe has pretty particular placement over the chest. I feel like larger chested women would have some fringe parted down the middle of the sections. 
Overall, I like these pieces. The way they are paired up with leggings reminds me that I should stray away from plain black. Besides, with the fringe you need some party in your life!

I found these paneled shoes at 80sPurple.com around a year ago (or so) and absolutely fell in love, especially with the color. I’d come across them and then push them out of my mind, not sure if I would actually wear them. I went searching for them again at 80s Purple and saw that they were 50% off!!!
