It’s fairly common knowledge that I’m completely obsessed with shoes. And my current shoe obsession is the bootie. I can’t stop buying them!
As I was perusing the Neiman Marcus website, these lovely Christian Louboutins caught my eye:
Of course, with a hefty price tag of $975, there’s no way I’m laying my credit card down for these beauties.
I did, however, find something comparable and affordable on the Nine West site:
At only about $85 (they are 30% off right now!) they are definitely a more conceivable option. And they come in a fierce black-grey animal print as well.
Since I already own several pairs of leopard-print shoes, I’ll probably go with the black-grey pair. There are so many outfits I can see these booties with: skinny jeans and a sparkly top; cuffed boyfriend jeans, white tank, piles of necklaces; or a black mini-dress with bright tights. The options are endless!
Rihanna was out in about on the streets rockin’ those Christian Louboutin animal print Ankle Boots I’ve been seeing more and more foten, and not to mention the Marc Jacobs sweater dress that Kelly Osbourne was also wearing recently. Although I probably could never wear the leopard print boots, especially if it’s an all over print- they can be worn correctly by the right person. Here are a couple (although not price friendly), they are still amazing to look at !
