I wrote about the supposed ‘knock off’ earlier this week. It looked like the Kardashian sister’s Bebe collection completely ripped off Fendi. Here is what Kim had to say about that:
“I’ve seen some talk online about certain pieces ‘knocking off’ other designer’s pieces and I’d like to share a little piece of fashion wisdom… the clothes you see in the chain stores at your mall are all inspired by designer, runway fashion!!! What stores like Bebe do is take runway fashion and use it as inspiration to create pieces that are wearable and accessible for everyone. To say any of our pieces are a knock off is like saying every item in every clothing store in your mall is a knock off.”

So what do you think? Do you agree with this statement? Is everything we wear a knock off? Is this what the fashion industry is about? State your opinion!! Vote in the poll!

It looks like someone may have borrowed some ideas from somebody else! Oops! I doubt the Kardashian’s were really actually designing many of their pieces for Bebe, but it still looks kind of bad! One of my favorite pieces from the Bebe line looks like a similar piece from Fendi’s RTW Fall 2010 collection. Not a good look! What do you think? Coincidence? Not?

Oh, how did I miss this news? Who knows, maybe because I get Kim Kardashian overload! It looks like Bebe finally released their collection with Kim Kardashian, and it’s selling quick according to their twitter. Everything in this collection is super cute of course, but nothing out of the ordinary! Well done Bebe & Kardashian’s! My favorite piece is definitely the Mesh Bodice Mini Dress ($59). Prices range from the $50’s to $150’s. Check out the entire collection on the Bebe Webstore.
Is it me, or does the Bebe model look exactly like Kim?

Looking for an affordable priced holey pair of leggings? These Bebe tights might be the ones for you. I’ve seen the $200 leggings which look like someone just took a pair of scissors too and went crazy, and then I’ve seen the $10 pair at the Swap Meet which look like moths ate them and spit them back out. These are the perfect pair, and will look perfect with some booties and a skirt, or even a long tank. Love ‘em! Buy here for only $19.

This Prada pleated studded dress was definitely a hot commodity on the runway when it came out. I’m sure this Prada dress is no where near anyones budget, so Bebe decided to make their own spin on the dress, with a prettier price tag of $189. It’s not available yet but you can input your email address by clicking here and they will let you know when it arrives.

This studded sandals by Burberry retailed for $940 at Neiman Marcus, but are no longer up for sale. If you want a similar shoe for less, this Burb chain link strappy sandal by Jeffrey Campbell is a great alternative. It retails for $124 at Lulu’s and you can buy it

Yes, of course I love these gorgeous YSL Cut Out Platforms. Their sexy and sleek, but once again-the price doesn’t fit! These YSL’s retail for $870 at Bergdorf Goodman. Bebe also has their own version of these YSL’s, which are available for $119. There you go!
