Christophe Decarnin makes it hot and sticks to what he knows best, sexy, sultry, and showstoppin show show stoppin get ups. They look alot like what we’ve seen from Balmain before, but I don’t really think that’s necessarily a bad thing. You know Beyonce will be getting her bootylicious-ness into most of these lovelies. I really love long sleeved mini dresses. Maybe because it adds a bit of class. Sure, your wearing a short dress, but not everything is out for the world to see. I kinda need this this fringe dress in my life. Like, NOW!
Here is Bey Bey in NYC promoting her new perfume “HEAT” at Macy’s. She is wearing a Rafael Cennamo dress, and perfectly accents the dress with those red pumps. Love it! I am so behind with all these celebrity perfumes. From Kim Kardashian, to Sarah Jessica Parker- they all have one! Who knows if they even smell good. Do you have a favorite celeb perfume?
Beyonce is a huge fan of Ruthie Davis shoes, and it’s no surprise! Her shoes are amazing! To accept her Grammys during the telecast Beyonce was wearing the hottest Spring Summer ’10 sandal from Ruthie Davis. www.ruthiedavis.com The gold platform sandal towers at over 5″ and features Ruthie’s trademark gem/bolt encrusted heel. The shoes retail for $895 and are available at Neiman Marcus.
Ciara did WORK! The Grammy’s are still in progress but I had to make my list because the fashion was just too amazingly outrageous for me not to put my two cents in. (Which I seem to always need to do.) Here’s my list! And I’m sure some of you will think I’m crazy, so I’m more than prepared to argue my cases. Take Ciara, sure, some may see this as a hot mess, but I love it. Very Gaga-esque but still works for her. She looks phenomenal. The details are so dope. I’d love to see this Givenchy concoction in person!
See the rest of who made my cut, after the jump. And remember, this is the Grammy’s. Anything goes!
How much you wanna bet Beyonce or Jenny from the block have these shoes?? These are the first pair of shoes that are too much for me to have balls to wear. I wish though. Leather sandals with Swarovski crystals? Yes please! But they’ll put you back $995 and are only available by calling Giuseppe Zanotti Design, as seen in Elle mag. Sadface.
First off, I’m not a fan of this song. But I can see how this is a catchy song, and how I will most likely be dancing my a$$ off to this in the club, without a doubt. I dam definitely feeling Beyonce’s style in this video, I am LOVING her look! And Lady GaGa, well she is looking like a normal human! Any thoughts?
My two favorite chicas are finally making music together!
Lady Gaga Ft. Beyonce - “Telephone”
I love this song so much! I’m probably a tad bias though since I worship the ground Beyonce stomps her 6″ heels on!
I think the beat is sick beyond belief! ( Produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins ) & when Beyonce drops her segment it just gets even more amazing from there!
Writing was a little bit cheesy but it is a successful mix between hip hop and dance pop.
Tired of the Ray Bans you see on every other person and hipster, but love the Wayfarer look? Here is another option. I love the frame on these babies. They’ve been seeing on celebrities such as Beyonce, Vashtie Kola and more. Check out Grey Ant’s first eyewear collection ($250).
Beyonce will be all ours this Thanksgiving on ABC with the premier of “I Am…Yours”, at 9 p.m. CST and I can’t wait! Backstage exclusives, footage of Beyonce as a young diva, and best of all, front row seats to the Beyonce experience.
I Am…Yours An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas is set to be released on CD/DVD November 23.
Alter ego’s have always been somewhat of an excuse to go wild as well as the opportunity to channel one’s inner diva, so it’s no surprise that this ‘alternate’ lifestyle begins to pick up fast as a trend to many performers we’ve grown to love. Whether it was witnessing Beyonce transform into Sasha Fierce, or seeing Shakira dance her way into a maneating She-Wolf, it was an experience of new found personality appreciated by many.
And now we have J.Lo’s “new replacement for sexy” named Lola, who I’m not entirely sure about, but the more she and other entertainers alike continue to associate with alter-ego’s, the more I question their purpose. I can’t help but recognize alter ego’s as this admirable identity among a woman’s sexuality and dominance, however, I do want to challenge the idea. I want to ask why it takes adopting a new name to express sexual confidence? Sexy is not a bad thing! I often wonder whether or not creating an alter ego becomes a form of resistance instead of an act of eager expression. Stuff like this gets tricky, but at the end of the day it sells. It would be nice to read people’s opinion’s on this subject so let me know what you think!
