When Carrie Underwood first took the stage to sing the “National Anthem” at the Super Bowl, a lot of thoughts ran through my head about her outfit.

First thought: Wow. That’s a whole lot of white. But, it is Miami. And the people in Miami love to wear white. Plus, the girl has wedding on the brain, so I can forgive the all-white outfit.

Second thought: Ok, I can forgive the all-white outfit, but the hair…the hair is a mess. Carrie’s hair usually looks fantastic. She’s a total knock-out when she wears it down, so why go with this messy,  bumpy, wingy thing?

Final thought: Minus the hair, she totally rocked this outfit. Of course, she looks great in almost everything she wears. And she’s young and gorgeous, so she can pull this off.

So we put out our feelings on the best, and of course the worst… so here are the rest that didn’t make the cut. Pink, was wearing this Tony Ward Couture Fall 2008 Gown, which wasn’t super amazing, but wasn’t bad either. Not to mention her on and off hubby Cary Hart was looking fly! They really are the cutest couple!

America’s sweetheart has done it again. Carrie Underwood wowed at the People’s Choice Awards in this fabulous Christian Cota dress.

But as killer as this dress is, it’s the shoes that really caught my eye. (surprise! surprise!) These lovelies from Rock & Republic really make this outfit standout. And Underwood does a great job of keeping the rest of the outfit simple so the shoes and dress get all the attention.
