Wow, I’m actually liking this competely “normal” look on Gaga. Lady Gaga poses as the Statue of Liberty alongside designer Marc Jacobs for this cover, in which artist Dan Colen interpreted the iconic “V” using bubble gum as his medium. In total, V Magazine collaborated with 4 New York based artists for their creative take, and Colen’s is the first to be released for this exclusive preview. V67 hits newsstands TODAY, September 2nd.

A 2nd cover version stars Marina Abramovic (performance artist) and Tyson Ballou (model). Other notable NYers inside include supermodel Liya Kebede, hotelier Andre Balazs, Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters, Debbie Harry, Lady Bunny, Mark Ronson, Chloe Sevigny and MORE!

Hot damn! T his collection is on fire! Those wooden platforms are killing me!

“Girls buy the same silhouette over and over,” reckons Chloë Sevigny. Her solution, for her third collection with Opening Ceremony? Give ‘em only five, and a reason to buy a couple of each. For Resort, her five dress silhouettes come in five prints each—a leopard, a polka dot, a houndstooth, a paisley, and a floral, which also appear on matching Fogal tights, caps, and sweet little half-moon purses. The frock shapes, from a sleeveless, flared-skirt romper to a pinafore with lace-embellished pockets and a Peter Pan collar, are all pretty cute, but the standouts here are the cropped knits and accessories. In addition to her own shoe line, comprising a few styles with natural wood soles (the platform mule Mary Sue being the best of the bunch), Sevigny and her dedicated O.C. team collaborated with the nineties footwear brand NaNa to reissue and reinvent some classic styles.

I really don’t even know where to begin with this outfit:

The awful high-waisted pants. The cropped jacket. The black bra under the sheer white top. Her mess of hair. Or the fact that InStyle thought this was the best Look of the Day.

I think the pants are the worst part of this ensemble. I’m having flashbacks of the days when I use to play bingo with my grandmother. I can see one of those little old ladies sporting these pants with an “I Love My Grandkids” sweatshirt. I actually like the cropped jacket, and I don’t mind the sheer white top with black bra. But put it all together and you’ve got yourself one hot mess.

Actress Eliza Dushku visited the Late Show with David Letterman in New York in this fab outfit this week. And although she is doing the whole matchy matchy, beige and black thing- I am totally feeling every part of this outfit. Eliza rocked the Kimberly Ovitz dress, one glove, Marni black heels, Tory Burch Studded Messenger Bag, and necklace.. Chloe was rockin’ her very own Chloe Sevigny  for Opening Ceremony $625 buckle booties, and a chain purse.

So who rocked it better?

Choe’s oval toe triple buckle and gold toned studded boots are unfortunately sold out for now on Barney’s. They come with an impressive 40mm heel and the sole has a fine leather finish. Which I wont cry about, because they were retailing for $1,245. You can get the knock off (which I personally think is cuter anyway), from Jeffrey Campbell for $198.

Men dressing like women, women dressing like men. It seems like it’s nothing to even look twice at. Katie Holmes brought back the boyfriend look, and all those girly, skinny pant wearing hipsters brought back the metro look.

Chloë Sevigny and Opening Ceremony have teamed up to produce a unisex clothing line for their Fall/Winter 2009 collection. As a former model and American actress, it is fitting that Chloë Sevigny has collaborated with Opening Ceremony to push the fashion envelope forward.

Currently crushing on these Fall 2009 Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Collection Buckle Boots. At a glance they look pretty edward scissorhands meets frankenstein but on (at least on her) they look pretty fierce. Wouldn’t mind picking up a pair for myself and trying them out.
