A former Project Runway contest, Jerell Scott is one of my new favorite designers. His designs are gritty, yet girly and I cannot get enough. I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Scott at my current internship at Chic Little Devil and he is also oh so humble. That’s what I like to see! Project Runway fans, you might disagree with me but….I want Irina to win!!!
I could care less if a designers is nicknames “Meana Irina,” the girl has skills! And compared to her final competitors, I think she’s going to take the cake. Carol Hannah completely bores me. I want a designer who makes WEARABLE clothes to win, not gowns I’d wear to the Oscars, (yeah, cause I’ll be going this year!) Althea has a really cool, modern taste BUT it always seem wrong is some way. Plus, I love Irina’s sarcastic personality. Sometimes, being a bitch is necessary.

The best eyebrows in Hollywood showed us all that the genius, but a tad weird, Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 line IS in fact wearable!! (And not just Lady Gaga wearable) Camilla looks absolutely amazing in this McQueen creation. Everything about it is perfect. The makeup, the hair, the NUDE shoes. Someone’s stylist needs a raise! I still love the original styling though.
So….one of my previous posts mentioned to all of ya’ll about an outrageous fashion event at the House of Blues this past Saturday. Cold Flamez, art show, and talented fashion designers, including the star of MTV’s House of Jazmin. I had incredible hopes for her line, which was shown first. Well….
It was terrible!
I’m not one to put other people down, but I can count designer friends on both my hands and feet that deserve a television show more than this girl. She was upstaged by every single other line there.
My friend who has a interest in fashion but cannot tell the difference between the quality of Nordstroms and Forever 21 pointed out to me
“I could get all of this at Forever 21 huh? Maybe even Charlotte Rusee?”
That isn’t a good thing Jazmin.

Trust. I’m not taking cheap shots at a “celebrity” just because I have the means to, she really does not deserve a show.
MTV, look a little harder in L.A. for your designers. There are some amazingly talented ones out there!
The rest of the show consisted of flirty, candy colored cocktail dresses, boundary pushing undergarments, rebel without causes denim and tees, and a neutral flashback to the 20’s done oh so perfectly.
Who’d a thought little Michelle Tanners were such fashion divas?!?!
