Alys Beach, Florida has made the concept of graff on your house a good thing.Pulsating psychedelic graphics are apparently part of a festival known as Digital Graffiti.
Digital Graffiti is being billed as the world’s first outdoor art projection festival.
Also known as “Photon Bombing” and “Guerrilla Projection,” underground artists pioneered this unique form of expression by projecting graphics and animation onto skyscrapers and other urban structures as a form of digital graffiti — without leaving permanent marks or risking getting a criminal record. Digital Graffiti is the first organized festival to showcase their work.
But, if you can’t make it to Florida..then your in luck because you don’t need alot of fancy equipment to achieve this new form of exterior design.
The WowWee Cinemin Swivel($349, available this summer) is a candy-bar sized “pico” portable projector that employs the same DLP technology used in high-definition TVs and movie theaters. It offers a high-contrast 480 x 320 resolution display and can project an image of up to 5 feet in size.
So, go ahead and tag your house up(respectfully).This little contraption will save you alot of time and clean up at the end of the day..And no hassle from the Po-Po about vandalism..
And if they do..
Tell them it’s a form of artistic expression..lol.
