Nicole Richie wore this Dior Harem pant jumpsuit gold thingy to a celebration of The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, hosted by Charlize, Dior, and Vogue. I am fully convinced that Nicole is the ONLY person in the whole wide world (besides the Dior model) who can effortlessly pull off this look. It’d be a mess of fug if anyone else tried. Her boho style and quirky attitude make this work. Like she knows its weird and wears it just for that reason. I might be the only person in the world who likes this look on her and I don’t care. She looks gorg.
I really liked this look Rihanna rocked to the 2010 Kids Choice awards this past weekend. Her make-up was on point, and the dress looked amazing! Although, when did that beauty mark above her lip just show up? I think she looked a little too much like Keri Hilson (not in a bad way).
I’ve heard AMAZING these about Dior’s mascara collection, but have yet to try it for myself. Anybody out there use these mascara’s? Are they really worth the $30?
The new DiorShow Extase Mascara is the first mascara to plump lashes inside and out—wear it alone or pair it with your favorite Dior mascaras.
DiorShow Extase provides built-in treatment benefits and high-impact lashes in a single stroke! The spherical-shaped Black Pearl Pigments create a 3D volume effect and the exclusive Metamorphosis Powders expand in size by up to 50% after application. Also, SR38 Patented Ceramid brings additional care, reconstructing damaged lashes and promoting stronger and fuller lashes.
The Extase mascara features a “Tiered Brush” that is inspired by the “tiered” couture dresses created by the House of Dior. The brush is designed for performance and contains an Exclusive Duo of Fibers: The Black Elastomer Fibers brush out and define the lashes for panoramic fringe and the Gold Nylon Fibers hold and deposit formula, generously coating each lash for outstanding volume.
Wondering what this is? I first saw this more sophisticated style on Dita Von Teese and then on models for Dior, Ruffian, and Thakoon. The eclipsed moon manicure is a style from the 40’s where the moon has been flipped. I absolutely love the look and this has gotten thrown to the top of my DIY. More photos behind the cut along with the “how to”. What do YOU think about this?
I’m not sure what’s come over me, but this is the second outfit that I’ve seen Sarah Jessica Parker in recently that I haven’t loved.
I love the accessories, but the dress itself just isn’t doing it for me. I know it’s Dior, but there’s something very ordinary about it. Almost bridesmaid-y. SJP did put her own spin on the dress, but it just wasn’t enough to sway my opinion.
I have always admired the graffiti culture and lifestyle. The art is amazing, especially when done naturally in the streets. This showcase features “Graff-Couture” for Vogue Paris. Brazillian model Raqual Zimmerman posed in front of colorful and amazing murals. This editoral was photographed by Mario Sorrenti for the November 2009 issue. Fashion director Emmanuelle Alt styled the shoot which has Zimmerman channeling an old school Hollywood pin-up dressed in modern haute couture pieces from Givenchy, Atelier Versace, Dior, and Valentino.Looks like they got a bit of Kaws in this.
The Christian Dior Fall 2009 Couture collection is basically what every girl would love to have in her wardrobe. Sexy lingerie pieces, bright vibrant colored tops and skirts, an intricately made ball gown (for those glass slipper moments of course), all come together to make for one feel-good, feel-sexy look. Love the elegant pairing of sheer pantyhose, silk panties, and sexy stockings with outerwear, and doubley in love with the fact that all the models look like theyre ready to kick someone’s a$$. More pics after the jump.
So you can either charge these hot mesh sandals by Dior retail for $790 at Saks Fifth Avenue, or pay cash for these Miley sandals by Jeffrey Campbell. Save your money and spend $104 get them here from Lori’s Shoes.
I know all of you guys have heard of the vibrating mascara’s, and illuminating tweezers, but this lip gloss has to be just as awesome… but it’s also pretty expensive. What looks like a regular tube of Dior lip glossr is actually a spinning “magic wand.” The applicator rolls as you glossify, to apparently help you channel the application techniques of expert makeup artists. For $30 a pop, you better enjoy it! Buy it Sephora
Directed by Olivier Dahan , featuring Marion Cotillard, Dior has released a mini story of its own- a lady James Bond adventure- “Chapter 1: A Lady Noire Affair“. The film shows off the men in perfectly pressed Dior Homme suits, and Marion Cotillard rushing up the Eiffel Tower in amazing black heels, distinctly shaped “Diorette” sunglasses and the Lady Dior Handbag.
Surrounded by mysterious people, kidnappings, and the spy thriller-ish vibe, I think that Marion looks absolutely phenomenal.
For those of you who are fans of Dior and Cotillard, you can follow the short films development on TWITTER.
XOXO
Be on the look out for the second chapter, Marion Cotillard as “Lady Rouge”.
