I know Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen is all about that grungy but chic hipster look. But this outfit may have made me shake my head a little more then average. I usually admire her fashion sense, especially because she knows how to rock the thrift store grandma looking sweater with some designer heels pretty right. Here is a photo of her on the set of Gossip Girl, in Manhattan.

Flawless. Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively looks absolutely stunning in this Marchesa mini. I decided that when I get married, my dress with be Marchesa. One of the most feminine, flirty, unique, yet underrated designer duos out there! I’m waiting for some sort of affordable Marchesa line at H&M or somewhere. (I won’t hold my breath though!)
I’m also really feeling the nude shoes. Whenever someone asks me what shoes to wear, my motto is “when in doubt, go nude!” Blake knows the rule. Makes her legs look like they go on for weeks (not days).
This dress is from their Spring 2010 collection and below are a few more favorites. Theses dresses are To. Die. For.

Hope you are now a big a fan as me!

HOLY MOLY GUCAMOLE!
I almost peed myself when I read on nymag.com that Jean Paul Gaultier will have a budget line at my favorite shopping place, Target!
He will follow in the footsteps of Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, and Thakoon. Hopefully he’ll do better than any of the before mentioned designers. I went to Target Monday to restock on face-wash, Anna Sui’s “Gossip Girl” inspired line was already on the sale rack! It can’t have been out more than 2 months.
I’m going to pray to Buddha that his Target line look a lot like his Spring 2010 line, shown above. I’m diggin’ the whole feel of it.
Will you line up to get JPG at Target???
I WILL!
See you there March 7th!!

It seems like Gossip Girl is inspiring more than cat fights and names consisting of single letters these days. Aside from the newly announced Anna Sui for Target collection, Jennifer Behr, a designer specializing in unique headbands, head pieces, and belts, is a common fixture on Gossip Girl as her pieces grace the head of evil queen bee Blair Waldorf. Behr has had quite the success from her items being featured on the show, and has just released photos of her upcoming line.

I came across this wonderful finding on the lovely virtual pages of Vogue…Anna Sui & Target are doing a Gossip Girl inspired collection for 2009. Sui is the second big name designer (following Alexander McQueen) to do a nice little collab with Target (TargĂ© for the more sophisticated crowd). The different looks in the collection are said to be a result of inspiration from the looks of the four main characters on the hit show Gossip Girl, Blair, Serena, Jenny, & Vanessa, which is exactly what I thought of upon my first look. Personally I think this duo is a “good look” for all of us fashionistas on a budget. Don’t you agree?
