I was able to cover this event this past Saturday and It was a blast. Travie McCoy, Common, Kid Cudi, Slash with special guest Fergie, and the Smashing Pumpkins were highlighting the event, with dozens of other bands. The crowd was mixed between your typical young Hollywood crowd, and some stuck in the 80’s rocker fans. Food trucks, beer amongst other goodies were everywhere. Here are a couple flicks I managed to take!
Here is the leaked video brought to you by the Colombian beauty Shakira, featuring Kid Cudi. There are so many versions of this song, but the original is definitely my favorite. If you’re interested in downloading the remixes, go here. Those acrobatic moves in bed between Shakira and the dude are crazy lol!
*Update* I Finally got a hold of this version for download
Remixes are always a hit or miss, especially if you’re gonna call it a remix but I gotta say the Kid Cudi x Shakira “Did It Again” single is a definite winner in my music book! I’m having a hard time deciding whether I like it most because mister solo dolo shares his fantasies about the sexy hip shaker or because the energy in the music is freaking contagious. Whatever it is, it’s worth the listen.
When I first heard this song, I probably played it a million times over and over again. Pretty cool video, and if you know me- I’m a fan of Cudi! By the way, if anyone is interested in the sample for this song, it’s Patsy Cline for”Strange”.
So I loved the original song when it came out, but I’m totally stoked on this remix of it done by Sammy Bananas. This might have to be the next party song! Enjoy it!
I’m a fan of Cudi, big fan. I’m actually really excited with the release of his newest album titled “Man on the moon: End of day”. His next single “Pursuit of Hapiness” is my favorite that I’ve sampled so far, which features band MGMT and one of my fave indie producers, Ratatat. If you haven’t heard it yet, download it and enjoy.
There is nothing better then AWESOME Live music….Artist Bryan Greenberg (Who is also a TV Star) did this nice acoustic set, and brings Kid Cudi out on stage to do a little freestyle. Sweet song?
