I always say there’s nothing like feeling beautiful, but it’s even better when people notice. I was recently invited to attend a Sephora launch party for their new service: Sephora Express Services. I was asked to bring three girlfriends in with me, and we weren’t told much about what we were in for other than a free goody bag and free lunch and cocktails at a local restaurant.

When we arrived, a sales associates explained to us that Sephora was unveiling a new service in which you can come in at any time and get either your foundation, eyes, or lips done for free. It’s perfect for when you have a big event or girls’ night out planned, and you really want to take your makeup up a notch. I’m already planning to go back in before a Halloween party to get my perfect smoky eyes done again for my Posh Spice Halloween costume.

Since this was the launch event, we got to pick two services. I went with eyes and lips, and I loved the outcome. I had perfectly purple smoky eyes and a gorgeous nude lip. I also got to try the new Make Up For Ever High Definition concealer. That stuff is magic!

MAC Cosmetics is debuting a new line July 9th called Colour Craft. Filled with bright zesty colors for the eyes, lips, cheeks, etc, this line was designed to make your skin stand out in every way possible. Though I’m pretty sure it would be a seriously bad idea to wear all the products of this line at the same time for fear of looking like a clown, the collection looks like it has some amazing colors to spice up your errrday makeup routine.
