Wow, I’m actually liking this competely “normal” look on Gaga. Here’s a note from the editor: “Just as the Statue of Liberty was France’s gift to America, Gaga is, to us, New York’s greatest gift to pop culture and fashion. She embodies everything V is about, and is also a beacon of the city’s creativity and hope. Exactly one year after her first V cover (the first fashion magazine cover she was on), we decided to do the NEW YORK issue, and she was the first person who came to mind to represent our great city. In the year that’s passed, she has become a bonafide genius and we can safely declare her our muse. Above all, a New York issue should celebrate people who’ve done great things. We at V are grateful Gaga came along to put the New back in New York!”
“The New York Issue,” which features fashion and art in the most exciting city on Earth! Lady Gaga poses as the Statue of Liberty alongside designer Marc Jacobs for this cover, in which artist Dan Colen interpreted the iconic “V” using bubble gum as his medium. In total, V Magazine collaborated with 4 New York based artists for their creative take, and Colen’s is the first to be released for this exclusive preview. V67 hits newsstands TODAY, September 2nd.

A 2nd cover version stars Marina Abramovic (performance artist) and Tyson Ballou (model). Other notable NYers inside include supermodel Liya Kebede, hotelier Andre Balazs, Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters, Debbie Harry, Lady Bunny, Mark Ronson, Chloe Sevigny and MORE!

Summer is one of my favorite seasons, and living in LA, it seems that Summer is pretty much year round. Beautiful weather, pool parties and bbq’s, it’s important to have your “must haves” with you at all times. Here are a couple of my must haves for the Summer. If you have your own tips or products, leave a comment and share with our readers!

Playtex Petals
I got a sample in the mail of these from Playtex, and tried it out. Basically, these are great for anytime of the year when your lady friends needs a little “refreshing”. Spent the day at a BBQ all day and need a little extra somethin somethin? These pocket sized wipes are great, and smell fantastic. Have a date night and don’t have time to shower? These are great!

TRESemme FreshStart Waterless Foam Shampoo
Waterless shampoo? Brilliant! Takes 3 minutes, and makes your hair feel amazing and clean again without actually having to hop in the shower! TRESemme Fresh Start Waterless Foam Shampoo is the perfect solution to clean hair without water anytime. The unique formula, with Witch Hazel, Citrus and Aloe Vera refreshes your hair by removing excess oil, impurities and odor while moisturizing hair. Waterless Foam Shampoo instantly transforms lifeless limp and dull hair into fresh hair that is clean, shiny and smooth.

Marc Jacobs Daisy
Looking for a light, flirty Summer fragrance? I love Marc Jacobs’ Daisy perfume!

Sweet Heart Sunglasses
I can’t tell you how much I LOVE heart sunglasses! As a kid I rocked them, and they are totally the best Summer fun sunglasses. For $10, how could you not?

Dove Go Fresh Body Mist Water Lily & Freshmint:
I love Dove’s Body Mist spray because it’s great for those hot days, when you need an extra refreshment. Spray on your body, face, and pretty much anywhere else. It smells great and fresh! Each bottle goes for about $4 at your local drug store.

I know, I get a late pass for this , but it’s still good! For Elle Spain’s April 2010 edition, our favorite designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Mar Jacobs + more have been all drawn into Disney classics characters! Other designers in this spread include Dolce & Gabbana as Goofy and Mickey Mouse, Donatella Versace as Daisy Duck, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Alber Elbaz and Sonia Nathalie Rykiel. So cute!

Zoe Saldana popped in this perfect Giambattista Valli outfit in Japan for the premiere of her new movie “Avatar.” Not one bit interested in this movie, but I am becoming a huge fan of Miss Saldana’s style. This dress is beyond perfect. I’ll say it again, PERFECT. The color, the tucks, the ruffles, the length! The shoes are to die for too. Although, they look sooo much better than what her arm candy is wearing (YUCK!) Its cool, he’s still sexy.
If you don’t buy Zoe’s fashion choices, this shall convince you:

YES! YES! YES! Rompers done right!
Child, do your thang!
Oh yeah, and this last photo is of her hanging backstage with Marc Jacobs in Paris, no big.

How fabulous is this Marc Jacobs Lola Solid Perfume Ring?

I’ve been checking out the new Marc Jacobs Lola fragrance every time I go to Sephora, but I haven’t bought it yet. I’m a sucker for pretty packaging, and the fragrance has that. But when I got an e-mail today from Sephora with this adorable solid perfume ring, I quickly turned my focus from the fragrance bottle to this ring.
The ring not only embodies the bold jewelry trend we are seeing everywhere, but it also houses a lovely solid version of the Lola perfume. The fragrance smells lightly floral with hints of vanilla on me, but since perfume smells differently on everyone, you will probably want to try it for yourself.
Of course, even if the fragrance doesn’t work for you, the ring is worth the purchasing alone!

François Nars, the founder and creative director of the beauty brand that bears his name, is celebrating the company’s 15th anniversary with a new book.Combining beauty products, photography and a group of celebs, the book named “15 x 15″ features features portraits of 15 famous faces – including Marc Jacobs, Naomi Campbell, Isabella Rossellini, Daphne Guinness and Amber Valleta all wearing Nars products.

“When you do something for 15 years, you want to do something fun but still a nice piece of work. Plus, the Nars brand people wanted me to do something to remind people I’m still here,”Nars told WWD. Browsing through the images – all of which are brilliantly creative – our favourite has to be the Marc Jacob’s portrait, which sees the designer pose in false lashes, red lipstick, tomato-red nails and cartoon-esque tattoo drawings in the Richard Avedon inspired shoot.
“There’s something different on every page,” said Nars, who’s beauty products are a hit with many A-listers, including America Ferrera and model Nina Malone. “You don’t get bored.” The book will go on sale sell from mid-November for $85, and 30 days only at 15×15project.com.

Do you lust after Louboutins but can’t stomach the idea of paying full price? Do you crave Gucci handbags but can’t rationalize spending a month’s rent on one?
Well, you’re in luck because there are some seriously fab deals out there…and all you have to do is subscribe to certain sites to find them!
I know most people are familiar with some of these sites, but I wanted to share a few of my favorites for scoring great deals. (I’ll consider this my charity work for the week!)
The Outnet: This is my number one go to site for deals on shoes. I recently bought a pair of $700 Louboutins for $250. And now I can’t stop staring at these Jimmy Choo’s…

They are regularly $875, but The Outnet has them for $350.
I also love HauteLook. The deals on this site vary, but I’ve seen Gucci bags on here for 1/3 of the normal price. I’m still kicking myself for not snatching one up!
Shop It To Me is great, too. You can customize the e-mails the site sends you by selecting different designers and/or items you want to know about. And if there is a certain item you want to keep an eye on, the site will alert you when that item goes on sale.
Ideeli is also a favorite of mine. I’ve purchased Marc Jacobs sunglasses from this site before for less than $50, and I just got an e-mail that there is a sale on Michael Kors sunglasses TODAY. I could always use another pair of sunglasses…or two.
So what are you waiting for? There are tons of great deals out there, so log on and do some damage!

I know what you’re thinking. Kelly Osbourne in high fashion? And cute high fashion at that. Kelly was spotted at the Ivy restaurant in Los Angeles grabbin’ a bite to eat, looking fabulous in her Marc Jacobs sweater dress from the Fall 09 Collection. You can see the entire collection here.

Ok, it seems like MJ has been winning all my yay’s and nay’s lately. These shoes are just unacceptable! These remind me of those hideous Lugz that came out way back and when, and just make me shake my head. The wooden heels kills me even more!! Aaaghh!! Oh, the price? Don’t sweat it, $855.14, Marc Jacobs,@ Mytheresa
