Rihanna was seeing at AGO restaurant in Hollywood recently, wearing this black dress from Lavin’s Spring 2010 RTW collection. I think she rocked it well, and looks a million times better then the runway model. I think this dress looks great when it’s fitted, rather then lose. What do you think?

Okay, let’s break it down. Thigh high boots. Spandex bike shorts. Birthday cake skirt. Little Mermaid/ cones in ode to Madonna. Shoulder wings. Full length gloves. Flotation  devices in case she drowns on stage. Oh, and can’t forget the bright red hair.

I’m usually a huge fan of Rihanna’s style and her stylist, but this? It just looks dumb.

I guess this one is a tad better? Eh, maybe not.

Rihanna wears this in Zac Posner Resort 2010 dress in a dark print while Amber Rose popped off in a lime green. I think both of these ladies pull off this skin tight dress, and Amber has always has the guts to pull off the “wow”, but I think Rihanna looks a lot better.

On her new beau: “I have a boyfriend. I’m so happy. I feel really comfortable, and it’s so easy. I have such a chaotic life, but at the end of the day, that is just my peace. It keeps me sane, really, talking to him and talking to my family.”

On designers she admires: “It’s clear there are definitely fewer black women in the high-fashion industry. One of the things I respected most about Gucci was that they did a print campaign with me. I’m a black girl on a fashion spread for Gucci—that was a big deal. I respect designers who aren’t afraid to go outside the box. I went to a Jean Paul Gaultier show, and I saw girls who are thicker than me, beautiful and voluptuous and different ethnicities. That made me so excited. I thought, Okay, I can work that, for sure.”

On the past year: “A year ago, I was very confused. Because he was my best friend. All of a sudden, one night changed our whole lives—not only our friendship, but our lives. I wanted to wake up one day and just not have that pain anymore. I wanted to be with him again or get over him—it was either-or. I just didn’t want to feel the pain, the confusion.”

I really liked this look Rihanna rocked to the 2010 Kids Choice awards this past weekend. Her make-up was on point, and the dress looked amazing! Although, when did that beauty mark above her lip just show up? I think she looked a little too much like Keri Hilson (not in a bad way).
