I think I’ve made it clear that I think mascara is the most important product in a woman’s make-up bag. If I could pick one piece of make up to come with me to the dark side, it would be mascara hands down. Anyway, I’ve came across a problem with my handy dandy mascara one in a while, which is trying to apply it. I know, turn on the car light right? Well if you’re in a dark bathroom, or God knows where, this mascara might come to the rescue for you . It’s the Lashlight mascara from Too Faced. It is has mascara formula with millions of microscopic mirrors that bounce light off lashes for a super-glossy and a jet-black finish that will help in enlightening every lash individually.
It thickens, conditions and lengthens in such a way that you can actually feel your eyes glowing. Grab it over at Sephora for $25.

All info on the flyer! I wish I could make it! Be ready for some goodies, I’m sure they’ll have tons.

A couple of weeks ago I was able to attend a Sephora launch party for their new Express Services program. While I was there, I decided to pick up a few new goodies.
Two of the products I bought were a Stila smudge pot and Stila lip enamel. I only recently got around to trying my new finds, and I am totally crazy about both products!

I bought the smudge pot in Little Black Dress and wore it for the first time last night. The stuff is amazing! It definitely takes a steady hand and an angled-eyeliner brush to get the liner where you want it, but once it’s there, it isn’t going anywhere. Even after (gasp!) falling asleep last night without taking off my makeup, the liner was was exactly where I’d left it. And the tiny hint of sparkle in the Little Black Dress color is perfect for a night out.

I started wearing the lip enamel earlier this week, and I’ve received a ton of compliments on it. I bought all three of the colors pictured, and so far, the red is my favorite. It’s so difficult to find a red gloss that stays put, and this does just that. And throughout the night of coctails and dinner, I only had to reapply the gloss once. Plus, I love that it isn’t sticky like so many of the long-lasting lip glosses out there.
My sources at Sephora tell me Stila is unveiling more lip enamel colors soon, and I’m sure I’ll be one of the first ones in line to grab those. I’m also contemplating buying the smudge pot in brown, cobalt, and grey.
Needless to say, I’ll need to make some room in my makeup drawer because I’ll probably end up with every smudge pot and lip enamel Stila makes before the year ends!

I’ve always been tempted to try these out. I first heard of Dry Shampoo from that show “I’m a celebrity get me out of here”, when Heidi Montag was sponsored by some dry shampoo company, and insisted on name dropping the brand every 5 minutes. So I got curious. Dry Shampoo obviously doesn’t need water, but it’s good for those who don’t want to wash your hair every day- you’re really not supposed to anyway. This cool little product is great for when you’ve had a long day at work, traveling, or whatever it may be- and your bangs are trashed, your hair is greasy and you don’t have time or a place to shower and wash your hair. It’s a quick easy fix.
Dry Shampoo is supposed to refresh, revive and rejuvenate the hair in minutes-wihtout having to blow dry. It soaks up oil, removes build-up and boosts volume. So give it a try. Shop all dry shampoos from Sephora.
(Excuse the gothic girl photo, she was the closest to resemble a woman with dirty hair)
