WOW! This dress looked so appropriate and right on SJP at the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards last night in NYC.  This dress is from the Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2010 Collection.

I’m not sure what’s come over me, but this is the second outfit that I’ve seen Sarah Jessica Parker in recently that I haven’t loved.

I love the accessories, but the dress itself just isn’t doing it for me. I know it’s Dior, but there’s something very ordinary about it. Almost bridesmaid-y. SJP did put her own spin on the dress, but it just wasn’t enough to sway my opinion.
