I am totally feeling these! This month’s edition: Champion Take Flight Inspired by the 1910’s. Capturing the mood of this revolutionary period, this web exclusive shoe mixes menswear inspired detailing with a wash sateen for that feminine touch.
Celebrate history with the Century Collection. Every month we will introduce a “20th Century Decade” limited edition shoe inspired by the history and fashion of that decade. They are exclusive to the web, so make sure you buy a pair asap! $50 each!

Uh oh, I feel a lawsuit coming up with these. Although they do technically just look like plain on flat sneakers with laces, they are too identical to the Vans Original Authentic. Too identical, that it is pretty much a fashion crime. The Vans go for $42 and come in every color in the rainbow, while the “Canvas lace up sneaker” goes for $11. Hmmm….
For the Jeremy Scott x adidas Original Spring 2010 collection, they came out with these. The Mickey Hi is based on the vintage adidas model, the Eldorado, where Jeremy Scott has incorporated elements of Mickey Mouse, the classic Walt Disney© character into this limited edition high top. The Jeremy Scott Mickey Hi will hit select accounts on April 1st at the price of €180. I can totally see Pharrell rockin’ these. Don’t know about them tho. (via)
Rihanna was spotted wearing the special edition Puma x Sergio Rossi hi-top sneaker which was designed for the Spring 2010 collection. I’m not a huge fan of the sneakers, but she wears them well. You can cop your very own pair at the Luisaviaroma shop now.
I’m stuck in between really liking this collection and kind of iffy about it. Some of the pieces are too hot not to cop (leather jacket) and their are definitely some pieces I can go on with out (like the sneakers and the one piece). But all in all, it’s a great collaboration with an amazing artist.
Fafi on the collection:
Unlike last collaborations with Adidas, I really wanted to be involved in graphic design as well as styling, all the pieces are inspired by my own closet, stuff I founded in vintage stores or during my trips. This is a very colorful spring/summer 2010 collection to celebrate the end of a cold winter, good times with friends, get noticed at airports and music festivals!
Wow, really? News hit the street last week about Jimmy’s Choo’s decision to make sneakers. I mean, like the UGG x J.C collaboration wasn’t enough of a surprise, wait till you hear the price! Yup, $625! Don’t know who would consider spending this much on a pair of sneakers, but hey, it’s Jimmy Choo!
We here at TLD, love Keds! So hearing about Keds collaboration just gets us excited! I am especially excited for the sequin shoe in collaboration with Alive + Olivia. The shoes will be available at Neiman Marcus, as well as Alice + Olivia boutiques + aliceandolivia, and of course A + O retailers worldwide. Available in four colors — black, silver, pale pink and safari green — each retails for $88.
“I don’t think I removed Keds from my feet as a kid,” Bendet said. “I can’t even count how many pairs I had. We decided to do a collaboration that would bring a little Alice + Olivia fun to the 2010 Keds Champion.”

Have you ladies been waiting long enough? I posted a video last week to see if you could catch a peek at one of the shoes that Hellz Bellz and Vans have collaborated on. Set to be released in February, the Sophie and Hadley will have girls going wild to get a pair in their hands. I couldn’t get the Hellz x Reebok, but these I will NOT sleep on.
The styling on the two shoes reflects Hellz Bellz designer Lanie Barcena’s own dichotomous take on fashion, which she describes as “tomboy chic” and “edgy feminine.” (VIA)
I’m all for “going out of the box” with designing, but these might be a little over the top. But I’m sure Kanye can’t wait to get his hands on these. For their 2010 Spring/Summer sneaker collection Givenchy went up and beyond what is currently on the shelves in the sneaker world. What do you think? These are men sneakers, do you dig ‘em?
