Lanvin: Spring 2009 Necklaces

lanvin

Sorry for the back to back Lanvin posts, but I couldn’t resist. My question is, are these new Lanvin accessories to excesisve? Or would you wear them? Personally, I think they look a little too excesive, and look like costume jewelry.

Nike Gladiator Sandals-Spring/Summer 2009 Collection

NikeI’m still iffy on these sandals,  but I might be able to swing on to these. I guess it’s the sneaker material on a gladiator sandal that confuses me. They come in black with white, and white with gold. Cop yours at Colette for only $110

Hellz Bellz 09 Spring “Renegades of Funk” Collection Part DOS!

hellzrenegade011

From WhatTheHellz.com:

Hellz™ presents the second installment of our Spring ‘09 collection, Renegades of Funk, a tribute collection to the Electro-Sound of the 80’s in NYC. Paying homage to the string of electro 12″ records by Soul Sonic Force & Afrika Bambaataa, including our all time favorite, Renegades of Funk, a song which truly stood on its own without trying to sound (or no sound) like Planet Rock or Looking For the Perfect Beat. It was a song that was a beat of its own, a beat that the Hellz woman can nod to!!!

Adding color to our often dark color schemes, the new palette took onto shape during a long day at work, when Renegades of Funk was on the tunes, inspiring a vibrant, cultural, funk style often synonymous Bambaataa. Even with the infusion of brighter colors and femme silhouettes, Hellz’ imaginary muse; the badass woman is very much present with her toughness all but heightened by the juxtaposition of soft and hard fabrications.

I absolutely love this ladies brand and even more so love the foul/vulgar tees. I’ll often forget that I’m wearing a shirt that says “f*ck off” and wonder why the elderly give me strange looks. If you know me then you know my potty mouth - so it suits me I guess. Lanie never disappoints.

A couple seasons ago a denim jacket was pictured in a lookbook and ladies everywhere, including myself, were searching for it. WELL it’s available now! (Read more)

Hellz Bellz 09 Spring “Renegades of Funk” Collection Part Dos

hellzrenegade01

From Hypebeast.com:
The hard-working duo of Bam and Lanie over at Hellz drop their second installment for their 2009 spring collection titled “Renegades of Funk”. The styles of 80’s New York City electro from the likes of Soul Sonic Force & Afrika Bambaataa and theiry Hellz track-favorite Renegades of Funk find themselves transcending the music arena onto an eclectic range of apparel. Much like the 1983 track which combined electro beats with rap, Hellz features the coming together of dark and bright and soft and hard fabrications. Look for the collection at your nearest Hellz retailer.

I absolutely love Hellz for their foul/vulgar tee’s. I’ve got the “f*ck off” shirt and always forget when I’m wearing it - I get nasty looks from the elderly. Whoops sorry. They featured a denim jacket a couple seasons ago that I was DYING to get my hands on… and it’s finally been released!!!

More pics after the jump!
