Its almost summer and you know what that means…ROMPERS! These things seem to have become staples in our summer wardrobes. I seriously rocked one two summers ago and I’d still pull it our of my closet soon. I’m in the market for another, and this DKNY one above is calling my name. “Aimeeeeee! Buy meeeeeee!” Yes, Donna Karen, I will buy your romper. Get it at shopbop.com.
Or for a tad dressier look, get this Karen Zambos stunner here.

Ready for the summer? I’d say yes, and no… Yes, I can’t wait to starting rocking some summer dresses and shorts, but no, I am not excited for the 8 month Summer in Los Angeles. Anyway, Juicy Couture has launched their new spring summer 2010 collection, and it’s making me excited!

I truly love summer but I love my makeup more and this sun isnt helping. If you find yourself complaining about how the sun is “melting” your makeup I got a list of products I use myself and on clients. These items will definately help if you need major coverage without looking melty or cakey:

Banksy- one of the most wanted guerrilla artists for “art terrorism”. I’m absolutely in love with his work. I wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to take a trip to the UK for the summer, I definitely would if I could. Heres a little preview of what the U.S. is missing out on:

Quicksilver is usually the a line you think of when you think womens fashion. Suprisingly, they are definitely coming out with some hot stuff. Not only are they cute, but their affordable. I know when you think Quicksilver, you think of dudes and waves, but this is definitely anything but that. They infused the rocker look, boho, and casual cool to get these awesome pieces of clothing. Summertime is not only a time to have fun and enjoy yourself, but take care of your body, and especially your beautiful hair! One of my favorite hair brands, Redken’s Color Extend Sun Sparkling Shield has the perfect ingredients to instantly detangle, boost moisture and softness, and add shine to your hair when UV rays are harsh and damaging. The Sparkling Shield leave-in smoother infuses deep hydration into sun-exposed, moisture-thirsty hair and the UV shield helps prevent fading. Your hair will have a healthy shine, texture, and style that lasts all day.

Unfortunately we can’t all be as flawless as Adriana Lima but we can definitely work with what we got. Since the summer weather is finally here I am going to give a couple skin Do’s and Don’ts that will be vital for the next couple months.
If I learned anything from Lifeguarding for 3 years it’s that sun block is a MUST!! Yes we all want to tan but getting burned is a different story. Be sure to put on sun block AND/OR tanning spray or lotion with SPF. If you do however happen to forget and get sun burned, Bring out the Aloe Vera.
Chap stick is good at any time of the year, month or day but during summer it is crucial. I’m big on lip care and one of my personal favorites is Burt’s Bee’s Sun Protecting chap stick with SPF 8. There’s nothing more unattractive than cracked, chapped lips so ladies, In the name of all things holy keep them lips nice and moist….you never know when you might use them
FEET!! It’s summer….which means bring out the sandals, heels, chanclas or if your on the beach no shoes for that matter. Please do us all and yourself a favor and keep the feet neat. Pedi’s are a must. Dead skin?? Come on women, were better than that. If you don’t have time or money for a pedi feel free to do it yourself. Keep a foot scrub and file in the shower and start workin!
